Those corbeau seats looks really comfy. Especially compared to my Sabelts with like 10mm soft padding squished to oblivion Well, I can say I feel the car at least

They are pretty comfortable. The car gets driven to and from track days and they are only very slightly less comfortable than a Recaro Sportster CS seat. You know after a day of driving you have been in them but you do not get out of the car in pieces holding your back and complaining about your spine.

A Pure Motorsport stud and nut kit arrived today.



I really like Pure's products. They always look well engineered and they come with detailed fitting guides.

A nice touch for the stud and nut kit is that it comes with thread locker.

What size did you go for ? what offset wheels do you use ?

The longest ones, which I think are the 82mm ones. The car normally has 20mm spaces when it has road tyres on.

I am going to use the stud and nut kit with some Speedlines which have an offset of ET68 - but with 20mm spacers are ET48.

I will also use them on a set of Oz Ultraleggeras which have an offset of ET40 (without the spacers). The Ultraleggeras use shorter wheel bolts so should fit on the wheel studs as well.

only asking as i use a 90mm stud kit to run 197 wheels that i Believe are et68 + a 20mm spacer but new wheels are et50 so will need to change to a smaller set of studs so they don't stick out so far

Am I right in saying this would only be a cosmetic issue? so the below would be fine as the nut still has full engagement on the threads against the wheel, it just looks a bit odd because the the stud sticks out a bit further?

triple checking i’m not doing anything stupid so the wheels don’t fly off at thruxton next week

Oversized studs shouldn’t be an issue it’s just a cosmetic issue, assumed that you’ve loctite them in

Excuse the state of the wheel, I have shorter studs but they still poke beyond the face of the wheel.

one more question, sorry. is this right on the rear? should the shoulder be sub flush in the disk?

its more of a cosmetic thing just so you don't have really long studs sticking out

this is how far mine stick out out with 20mm spacers and 90mm studs

But i will be changing to a shorter set of pms studs for the new wheels [emoji1362]

They stick out quite a bit with the OZs but it’s not too bad. The dog approves.
