My 200 does it when cold and on standard unleaded; it does not do it on high octane unleaded, cold or warmed up. : (

This might sound stupid, but when I've had tyres changed before (not on my 200 cup yet), they used a jack. The car was off the ground on the standard pneumatic "fork lift", but they then jacked the car near a standard jack point. So how do they do it on a 200? (what am I missing?)

This does not answer your question but my 200 is doing 24 point something mpg at the moment and I don't do much town driving; I'm not that bothered by the low mpg as I like to hear it beep (after it is fully warmed up).

I have a 200 cup, and have not driven a 197, so I do not know which is better. One thing I do know is that they could put a more powerful engine in it, sometimes I think the 200 needs an extra 50 - 100 bhp. Anyone know what Renault has in the pipeline?
