Opinions please :)

A local bodyshop has quoted me £150 to fit and paint a cup spoiler on my 197.

They're known for excellent service and have done countless jobs on my old man's Merc's in the past.

I was just wondering whether people would see that as a little too expensive?

Cheers

Sam

depends how confident you are of fitting it, I did mine with my other halfs dad, took about 30mins, some bricks were shat... but my hes an engineer so used to drilling metal etc, he coated the holes with some anti rust shizzle, and then screwed/bolted it on.

also only paid £35 to get it sprayed and it looks awesome. (was mates rates) but for the size of the spoiler and depends on colour i wouldnt pay more than £70-80.

Considering the work of drilling and fitting it to the car, buying in the paint, prepping and painting it. £150 for a good job is good value when you think of it. The gf payed over a hundred for her twinge spoiler to be painted and bonded on, but again it was a spotless finish so worth the money.
