You really should report them because, while I know certain people will say "No one died" but without the feedback no one gets pulled up and then that style of driving starts to become the norm. Eventually there will be incidents and people like MSV will then put in regulations for those that can't regulate themselves like having specific, marked, overtaking zones.I didn’t spoil the day by any means, just took a bit of the shine off I suppose. I still enjoyed it but I think it was probably the worst track day I’ve done having to constantly be checking behind and there was also a fair few red flags when the marshall’s had to dig Caterhams and Cup Racers out of barriers. The C1’s were well behaved actually it was the Caterhams drivers who were the ones being naughty. I had a mate there having a drive of my car and they were hassling him a fair bit into corners, almost diving up the inside at times and there was also a couple of overtakes on corners! Should have really reported them straight away but they seemed to calm down a bit after a while.
I was driving a customers car at Donington on Wednesday in a queue of traffic in to Craners and the Old Hairpin. I saw Caterham man coming so I put the LH indicator on because, firstly there are another 6 cars ahead also waiting to overtake the slower car and secondly I want the left Apex of Craners. Still just puts their car right up the inside. I had seen it coming, no one died. Others may not have seen him, I had him black flagged and had a word.
Here is another video from the same day. I don't know this gentleman but he has a fast car and controls it well. It is not the only video of it making questionable overtakes. The title and comments however only ever seem to see fault with the other cars on circuit at the same time.
