LY Racer Turbo 310bhp....but more to come soon

We were getting injectors from there as they are a weird size in the clio. But from whats gone on with the project (many things changed altered, binned you name it, its happened) they learned that the injectors they thought were megane ones, were not, which is why the boost was dropping off and causing issues. Also i had an electrical fault with my fuel pump, so its been well investigated! I think your off target with the price and shouldnt jump to conclusions.

I no what your saying with the power difference, but whose not to say my car was more powerful as standard? Either way its not that much out, ive heard of worse!!! And whose to say RS tunings rollers are 100%? Everyone lives by his rollers, but i dont get why? Because he's the main renault specialist and he says so? I dont really understand it. Im not quibbling over power figures tho

It is basically finished. Im using it for a bit to give feedback and just use the thing. Then go back for tweeks and up the rev limit it 600 rpm. So not much to do, but in a project like this, things like this need to be done. I think its great, cleaned it all day and just had a blast, ive done 200 flat out miles so far and its lapped it up!! Drives amazing!!

People have there reservations with jamsport, but every tuner has had **** ups whether u like to believe it or not. my charger has been running for a year, been through lots of planning and development. They no what they are doing, done plenty of charged 172's 182's T/bodies so there not 'giving it a go'. They dont get to where they are in the ford market knowing nothing. Its cool people have opinions, i have mine. But at the moment im the only person on here that can tell you what the car is like

Apologises Mike....Just observations\opinions and no criticism about the car. Not a anti-Jamsport or debate about rollers again. However, if someones post something about their project, where's the harm in politely questioning what they hope to do or achieve by it? Or should we just always agree....? I'm interested sc clios as my last car was supercharged so I have an interest in the project. I asked and I was told how much it cost and that was before the issues in using standard ecu. If its less, than thats a bonus cause I love the idea of supercharging the clio.. I guess the reason I form my view on RS tuning is because their rollers 'appear' to be right if I take a realistic and common sense approach.

But that doesnt make me right either.

No need to apologise mate ive not got the hump lol! I'ts pretty obvious what i want, a weapon of a track toy that no one has lol!!

Give me a chance with a vid, there is one in here but i dont have the time do do one at the minute and i wont till its in its final state. Which wont be long, just gonna use the car for a week or 2 then its a case of a few hours on the rollers, job done!!

I'll post some pics up tomorrow.

Oh-My-****ing God!! That's my first reaction having spent the last hour or so in this car with Mike tonight!

With the exception of a 500bhp Skyline I was given a passenger ride in, I don't think any other car has given me such a kick in the kidneys when it's delivering the power... And boy does it deliver the power all the time. It's insane in terms of how low down it starts delivering and then it just continues. Yet at the same time it's still feeling like a 197 underneath still... Quite happy to mix along with the flow of traffic and with a press of the pedal it's alive again like a monster.

Hats off to Mike and Jamsport, it is without doubt a weapon... Coupled with decent coilovers the handling and power delivery complement each other and can carry crazy amounts of speed into, through and back out the other side of a corner.

Looking forward to my next ride out in a few weeks once it's been run and the finishing touches are applied!

Glad you enjoyed it buddy, we'll do it again soon!! Im so happy with it, i cant fault the car at all, relentless grip and acceleration and feels so stable and smooth, cant wait to track it!!

I promise ill get some pics up tomorrow, im at brands in the 182 so ill upload a mix

lol!! yeah i think it would need it, its pretty fierce lol!! Maybe we should take the drive by approach?

So no probs yet then mike ? And do you know when jams port will be puttin these in production? Ad will Paul at rs be able to do these just he's closer ...

You'll have to ask paul. I he's not done one. Think they will be put into production soon. Best to call them mate. The car is running fine

Few pics of it all clean, ill post up the pic of my ecu and engine tomorrow, but its all well hidden so not much to see. Also put in a few of my 182
