Contacted Shuv last night to try and wangle his address. Nice bloke that he is though, he thanked me wholeheartedly for my message but said a card really wasn't necessary. Back to the drawing board

Need to think about the gift now too so ideas welcome. We've had something Valentino Rossi themed, a rose bush, cider or some other drink for the wake and of course there are the flowers to buy. Guessing we'd spend about £40 on flowers, that is leaving at least £120 for the gift (£123.04 to be precise plus any further donations received).

Once we have exhausted some ideas, happy for people to vote on their favourites.

This place just blows me away! It's so good to see everyone coming together for one of our own. I couldn't afford to give much, but when we all chip in what we can the result is amazing. My faith in humanity is restored. Glad to be part of such an amazing bunch of people. Well done everyone & top marks to Simon.

I personally think something in the garden as a reminder is an excellent idea (as per @Siliconsteve suggestion) - I know flowers are nice, but something more permanent would be a lovely gesture.
