Take the cover off the airbox.


If you want even more, and I don't suggest this, take both the cover off and the filter out.

Lol I take the lid off some times but never taken the filter out :/ sounds deeper with the lid off but only done it once or twice.

Buy some cheap arsed open cone air filter ( K&N 57i ) you'll lose power but will sound nice.

Vauxhalls take very well to drilling the airbox, so you could try that

I ran my old Xsara Vts for over a year, through snow, rain whatever else without a filter (or pipework) on and it sounded like thunder coming down the road.... i wouldnt recommend it though... just incase! lol

thats not the worst of it! lol

It was only a £300 runner though.... it just turned out to be indestructable! I would even dream of treating a propper car like that!
