More noise on a budget

Just blew all my money on a 2007 197 and insuring it. Moving off my old car its a bit too quiet at ilde and sub 3k revs.

Anyone have any cheap mods to the exhaust to make it a bit louder (not ludocris)

Anyone with resonator deletes or just stainless back boxes ?

Removing the centre silencer is a cheap(ish) option <£100. Mixed opinions on the noise though...

Exhaust wise a back box or removing a silencer would be the cheaper option, but bear in mind it can exaggerate the flat spot at round 2,500rpm. Plenty of videos on YouTube of Clio 197s/200s with the central silencer removed.

I'd personally save for a proper cat back exhaust system like a Milltek. You could look at cone filters but I've never been a fan on N/A cars and always stick with enclosed systems or the stock air box with a K&N in.
