Tried to change the blower motor caused more dramas

Hiya guys,

I've been driving around with a dodgy blower motor all year. Now that the weather has gone down hill though I thought I'd change it. Changed the blower motor, no dramas but now I've got no lights except for the middle immobilizer one and the engine won't start. Any ideas? Radio comes on, external lights all work, windows work.

Check all fuses, and if they're fine I'd try connecting the old one to rule out the new one being faulty. Hopefully you've not fried anything.

In that case it may be worth giving a specialist a call to see if they have any advice for you, or you could try asking on one of the Facebook groups.

how did you go about doing the job did you remove the dash or steering wheel. what messages are coming up on the info window on the dash display

I unplugged everything from the steering wheel assembly, removed the steering wheel. Unscrewed the old blower motor then unplugged it. Plugged the new one in reassembled everything. And the engine turned over and started, the motor didn't work so I turned it all off and unscrewed it but left it plugged in tried to start it again and nothing. Went through the fuses, they're all good. I'm pretty sure I've fried something.
