the red baron progress

The bolsters on the base look so upright, well compared to mine anyway, going to have to remove mine and have a go at bending the bars and see if i can feel get them any straighter.

Also where did you go to get replacement foam insert? As both front seat base bolsters foam feel very tired and could do with being replaced.

i had some sort of sticky backed foam tape - not very thick about 2-3mm - just removed the cover and put this over the split foam

That's a good idea and might work with mine, whoever had previously been sitting in the seats probably had a wide behind  and think they twisted then pulled themselves out hence flattening the bolster down but with such wide sills can't blame them for that.

Nice work, did you have to get a new splitter, and is the undertray rivetted on?

new splitter - it was badly cracked and as i took it off it snapped

the under tray is rivetted on but i had the old one off awhile back to check the compressor wiring and so put it back via self tappers

Nice work! I know when I stripped my front bumper down for paint I either couldn't be bothered or couldn't work out how to remove it.

Bet you are pleased it is sorted?
