Morning all!!!

    Seens as the Exhaust seems to be a fairly hot topic of conversation, especially recently, I thought it'd be interesting to see exactly who has what. So please post your vote on the Poll and if you've any positive/negative comments about performance/build quality of the Exhaust you have then let's hear them too. If there's a particular reason why you went for the system you have then that might be helpful for people who are looking to buy one.

    Also, please state if you're Cat/Decat/100 Cell/200 Cell.

    Videos welcome!!!

    So, for me, I originally just chopped the centre-silencer out of the standard system;

    Whilst it sounded great, in fact how RS should've made it to begin with, the flatspot was horrendous.

    I then found a K-Tec 200 Cell Sports-Cat and K-Tec (Magnex) Cat-Back System for sale at a very good price. So I took the plunge and I have to say my first impressions were that the build quality was very good and it fitted perfectly too. Performance wise, Nicole seemed to rev a bit more freely after a week or so of it settling and there definitely felt like there was more ''oomph'' on the old Bum-dyno. As I fitted both parts together, it's hard to say how each would perform individually but they work very well together.

    At my most recent MOT (yesterday), the emissions are no worse than with the standard Cat, but no doubt more free-flowing. At my most recent sound test (January) she read at 84DB @ 3/4 RPM. So, it's a loud system but it's not too OTT and to be honest I've had louder in the past so it just depends what you want from a system.

    One thing I would say is that the flatspot was virtually non-existant with the setup and has remained so to this day;

    Didn't even realise they made one for the 197/200 sorry mate!!!

    I'll see if I can edit the Poll. How do you find the Piper system?

    *EDIT* - I can't seem to add to the Poll now, stick it on as a Custom. :smiley:

    Full Milltek with decat for me, had the 1st 200 exhaust as I gave the car to them for development, although I don't think there is much difference between the 200 and 197 systems.

    Love the sound of it, it, pops and burbles very nice and sounds awesome on full chat. Only downside is the drone at 70 in 6th but thats easy to bypass by applying more pedal, lol.

    Quality wise I can't fault it, people used to slate Milltek for bad quality but mine is standing the test of time and abuse, had the system on for just over 18 months and covered nearly 40k with it.

    I'll get some fresh footage of it and post it. Next up is to remove the centre silencer for more noise then a fresh remap to go with the airbox and larger TB.

    Overall I'm well happy, I still remember when I picked it up the difference in noise was amazing and it felt like it had another 28.7bhp (unconfirmed of course :wink: )

    Good idea Willis. Its been something I've been wanting to stick up for a while now but just never knew the best way. Anyway.

    We have the Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system on our 200. The system consists of:

    Stainless steel link pipe with integrated resonator
    2 stainless steel mufflers
    2 carbon-fiber tail pipes

    The system is a complete manifold back exhausts system which removes the standard cat only leaving you with the pre-cat.

    Why did I opt for this system? At the time I think only 2 other members had fitted the system but their claims of uber awesome build quality and performance gain (And of course the shexee carbon fibre diffuser rings) were enough to have me sold.

    The garage that fitted the zorst for me had, the previous week, fitted a scorpion exhaust system to Acoles' (Former member on here) 197 and the said the build quality difference between the 2 was night and day. The claimed it was the best exhaust they'd fitted to a car.

    Anyhoo! How does it drive? Bloody marvelous. The sound, the extra power is definitely noticable, and proven on the dyno.

    Some vids of the zorst in action:

    Having the car remapped at RSTuning in July and hope the zorst helps me see some significant improvements.

    Bastuck Gr. A exhaust for me. Also isn't listed. I didn't realize that there are plenty of exhaust systems available.

    Recorded it a while back but the quality was terrible; decided I shouldn't upload it. I recently found out that the exhaust is leaking at the welds so I have to fix that up too (sounds amazing though lol). It literally took me days in order for me to find a shop that can weld stainless steel. Even Nissan doesn't have the facility to do that here. Ended up with the old Audi/Porsche dealer and apparently they did a lousy job. Some of my friends took some vids though, I'll make sure to ask them to send it to me :smiley:. Sorry, didn't take photos of the exhaust but I can take some with it installed on the car if you like.

    Is it a single tailpipe on one of those? I'll have a look on Google and You Tube. :smile:

    *EDIT* - Just found them on Reichhard Motorsport, looks identical to the K-Tec (1 Rear Silencer) that I have but smaller diameter. :thumbup:

    This is a great thread idea. It might be useful to anyone who doesn't know what to get or someone who doesn't know their options.

    It would be good if we could have a rough cost next to the poll entry so people can compare

    I agree. Someone wanna do the donkey work and find out the RRPs on these systems?

    I know the Akra prices thats it.

    Once we get the price info. Us mods can adjust the pole with new info.
