Chaps, wheres the best place to get 4 x locking bolts that are longer? I have 10mm spacers all around. What type of bolts do I ask for? Its for an R27

You will need:
Thread size - M14x1.5
Seat - CONE
Shaft length - 26mm
Hex size - ideally 19 mm (same as normal wheel bolts)

Try seeing if mcgard sell some as they're one of the better brands

Thanks....I presume the standards are 16mm long then?

Im glad I asked as i read somewhere that they were M12x1.5 lol

Wait for someone to confirm as I can't be 100%.

When I was looking at 16mm spacers I saved some locking bolts in my ebay which were identical to the above but 32mm long. I only got the M14 and length dimensions by measuring my standard wheel bolts so to the best of my knowledge the above is correct. Unfortunately I don't have the standard ones to hand so can't double check

How big are your spacers? Many get away with standard bolts.

I think they are 14mm spacers.... apparently previous owner stated that the standard bolts only engaged one turn, so obviously wasnt safe.

The standard bolts only have 6 or 7 threads engaged before spacers which is on the limit anyway. Any spacers will need longer bolts (Or additional bolts depending on spacer design)

I think you're best off measuring a wheel bolt on your car, I thought they were M14 when I measured but that was only rough measurement using a ruler

Cheers guys..think im gonna remove a bolt and measure as you've said. Demon Tweaks qouted me about 40 for a set of mcguard bolts

Definately m14 x 1.5, just finished a quick mock up of an adaptor im having made and it took me ages to find the right tap at work.

Cheers mate...after a bit of a search on here, it appears that they are m14 x 1.5 and are 25mm long...

Just gotta measure my spacers now to work out the required length of the lockers.

getting hacked off with these bolts! Halfords systems say m12 for my reg! Arghhh 1 place says one thing, and another another!

Im off to an alloy wheel specialist later to see if they can sort anything out for me!

Halfords system is wrong. I got mine from there when I bought some. They are M14 !!

Cheers mate....the alloy wheel place took one off, took one look at it and said 'you need an M14 x 1.5 x 40mm long (due to spacers) So im sorted now!

How much did you pay for the wheel bolts? And do you know how much halfords charge?

They had to be ordered in at about 40ish as they are longer. Halfords were about 30-36 for a set, but dont do extended sets.

Just ordered myself some 16mm eibach spacers, 41mm wheel bolts and 40mm mcgard locking nuts.

Cost me a bomb but I think they'll nicely finish off the car

Well, bolts and mcgard locking bolts are here but no spacers yet! Not sure where i'm going to fit them, don't really fancy doing it on the side of the road

Very impressed, ordered the spacers and wheel bolts from larkspeed sunday night. Bolts arrived direct from manufacturer this morning and spacers direct from eibach this afternoon.
