Hey

New to the site, was told about it through somone who comes where I work.
All I can say is glad he did, looks a lot better than other's ive looked at regarding the clio's...

Anyway, I got my clio last week, and so far pleased. Coming from a vee-dub background, i surprised everyone when I turned to the french.... but I'm quite impressed with build quality and drive,(so much that i bought it lol) plus loved having no turbo lag!
Few worrys have been put to bed after checking on here, dodgy when its cold, and the glovebox sags, both I believe to be common problems on these cars, and nothing really to worry about.

I think its just a standard 197, if the cup suspension is stiffer than what this is, then tbh, I'm glad i dont have it.:f1team07: (i think i dont anyway..) But my god it hangs on in the corners.:jase:

:welcome: mate nice motor, same as mine i also was a vag man coming from an A3 3.2, but these clio's are something else are'nt they? Also just remember their not vag so just live with the little niggles and just enjoy, im loving mine!

yeah they're awesome! My 'dubber' mates take the P, but I dont care! (ive still got my 89 polo 'loon so im still in the "scene" lol)

Not really got any special plans for it: gloss black the diffuser and grills, black mirrors, maybe get the roof vinyled, red calipers and gunmetal the alloys

I knew it was french when I bought it, so was expecting a lot worse, but touch wood, seems to be a solid motor

Yeah its an awesome little car, and I paid less than that aswell

I still love my veedubs, but was just drawn to this, always been a guilty pleasure tbh!
