Racing Blue R27 392/500 - 24/04/15 Polished up/Recaro bases changed over

cars looking good Dan,

R/B in the sun is to die for aint it, lol

and that matt black R1 is something else as well.

Thanks dude, i love RB in the sun yeh, tbh the iPhone 4 camera doesnt do it justice but its the only way i have of getting photos up!

The R1 is literally mental, especially with the Akra system on it. You could imagine how mental it is to hear, ride and look at in real life and it really is just as mental as you think it would be!

yes same here, i only have my I-phone also to get pics up, (cant afford the I-phone 4 tho),

i can imagine the R1, thats just one RIOT of a bike.

Haha yeh sucks! The 4 does genuinely have a better camera on, you can tap the screen to focus on different areas whilst in camera mode and by doing that ive discovered it has an effect on the way the camera on it captures light around the object reducing glare etc. Hopefully the 5 whenever it comes out will be an improvement on this further!

Car looks cracking dan, i love racing blue!!!

Thanks dude! RB and LY ftw

Really do love this car.

The site now has its fair share of epic Clios on it now.

Cheers dude!

What are people opinions on doing the rear diamond black as well? If you take a good look at some of the recent photos of the rear of the car, would it genuinely look better black like the front one or left silver.....

If i was to do it black, i think i would have to remove the Renault Sport badge as this is indeed silver, i dont want a mix and match going on. Plus i do like the clean look of some Clios on here without that badge. Looks tidy if you ask me.

I like the rear (and front) diamond in black. Like you said you'd have to de-badge the Clio and RS badges.

Only downside is Emma likes the chrome bits so I'm stuck with chrome :glare:

Hmmm yes indeed, the "Clio" badge is already removed but how do i get the RS one off? Heard of people doing it with dental floss!! Does it need heating up etc...

This afternoon in the end i decided to go for the removal of the RS badge look along with the painting of the rear boot diamond black as well.

As of yet i havent re-fitted the badge as the lacquer is drying in a rather odd way...

:wink::wink::wink::wink::wink::wink:

Hope you all like.

I'll get a photo up soon with the boot diamond fitted once its properly dry!

Thanks for looking!

Well.......

Method A) Remove with nails and put yourself out of the miserable pain ensued after by killing self....

Or

Method B) Use a flad head screwdriver from the inside of the diamond and gently lever out bit by bit, took me about ten mins but worth it. Because your doing it from the inside of the diamond by the boot button, there is not any risk to the paint work.

All in good job done!

Here is the finished job! Pretty happy all in all, no glue left where the RS badge was either, all came off easily enough in the end!

Enjoy...

like it Dan,

i wounder how easy it would be to paint the inner bit blue, ?

it might be the pic, but just so the diamond stands out a bit more.

Getting the inner bit blue is a good idea tbh, it's rubber though isn't it so not sure how that would work, touch up pen it?

Then just dont use it lol

yes thats what im thinking of doing to mine, i never use that center btton anyway,

it would stand out that bit more i think, :thumbup1:

Looking good, I really need to give mine a good detail.

Buy a rear diamond from a cup. We dont have the fance nacy lock button inside ours, its plastic so could be painted. Just tape the wire to the inside of the boot so it doesnt rattle.

Interesting advice there! I will have to look into this.

Ive reached a point with it now after the panel filter, KW's and remapping at TDF where i dont know where to go from here. Do i just keep the car running and enjoy it as i do now or do i spend on it some more!

Either way loving it atm, any ideas then let me know!

Thats all for now
