PITAs GW 200 FF Cup

The facelift lights have grown on me recently, I didn’t like them when I first saw them but I think this looks mint now! I’ve also ordered a half cage from JP cages during their January sale :sunglasses:

I have everything bar the intercooler for the supercharger now, just waiting on Pro Alloy.

Small update:

The larger intercooler spec has been finalised and will go into production. They’re going to use my car to make a new set of boost pipes too as the ones Mitch at Proline had made were for a car without the fuse/relay box in position so they don’t fit road cars very well. Josh Wheeler from Wheeler Motorsport also made me a lovely little PCV deletion bush/sender port. It’ll delete the PCV valve and house the sender for my boost gauge without having to weld it up or use a rubber grommet.

Next little project will be making a full size splitter from phenolic ply. It’ll bolt to the radiator support and rear subframe.
 
Great work Craig, the splitter is exactly what I am going to be designing / making for mine too when I get a chance.

I’m going to use some 2mm twin wall polycarbonate to make a template. It’s translucent so you can mark all the fixing points without guessing.

You been hacking my WhatsApp? Literally was talking with my mate about doing the same thing!
I was looking at these mounts that mount to the bumper support (as the M3 GT used it to mount an adjustable front blade).
If you do make it, try and make it adjustable to go forward and backwards, so you can fine tune downforce.

I have a spare number plate section of bumper that I’ll cut out and I’ll relieve the bumper support behind the plate section.

Finished the fuel pump/sender. It’s an R3T sender unit with a 5bar FPR and a TI Automotive GSS342 (Walbro 255). I had to dremel out the sender to get the 255 to fit as it was a couple of mm wider in diameter. 90 degree AN6 bulkhead and PTFE washers for the return. I swapped over the level arm and resistor f

This will feed into AN6 lines and a billet fuel rail and 630cc injectors with Sytec FPR.

Can I ask why you've used reg in the tank aswel instead of just piping the pump straight to the outlet of the tank and bypassing it? Looks great!

My thinking was that you’d lose swirl pot volume by bypassing the outer ring and the FPR, might be totally wrong! The sender/pot isn’t the biggest to start with so every little helps.

I did consider a separate swirl pot setup using the tank pump as a lift pump but the setup I’ve opted for should be good for the power I need and more. The 5 bar FPR just gives me more scope for mapping, I could run it slightly higher than the 3.5bar the standard car uses if it mapped better.
