as i mentioned above..got my hands on some goodies...some more im thinking about so it will take some time before these get fitted...just some pics...





quite curious about the difference between the old and new ball joints tbh...we will see

I was going to buy them ball joints but you beat me to it and if you bought the pads off ebay you outbid me on them lol

got them pads a while ago from a member on here..so that wasnt me....sure u can get in touch with ur local renault dealer to order some ball joints...

thanks Luke...tbh with ya..i dont think they need replacing...its just a fact that they were quite cheap and the pads too so i couldnt turn the offer down...plus my car is an 06 plate so replacing them wont hurt it in any way..and we know they take some abuse....the pads will be put on for track days and meets i guess..got pretty much brand new mintex 1144's on atm so no need replacing...

Ahh ok mate, I don't blame you tbh, ball joints are becoming a common wear and tear to replace on these cars. Should feel a lot tighter afterwards.

Yeah I remember seeing you changed the pads a while ago. Keep them as back up the are you good pads but I can't imagine you will see a massive difference from your 1144's as they seem good too.

Yeah for summer!

Got standard 197 alloys with winter tyres on for winter.

4mm tread on all of them.

Yeh I was happy with the price! £550 delivered, with decent tyres and unmarked, and with the rarer centre caps.

Well I'm guna sell the other wheels and then maybe springs to put on with the wheels. Really want a cup spoiler but they're so pricey, and rare for a second hand one to come up in AB, only seen one in that colour come up since I've been on the forum.

Yeh will put some springs on it, just a bit edgy about spacers, will have to see how it looks once its lowered. Spacers are easy enough to fit anyway.

Yeah my local garage do a lot of work for me, they are fair!

looking forward to seeing it lowered...there are lots of diff opinions about spacers...heard that even the racing clios use spacers but i found them very unsafe...the car was harder to handle to my liking.....

Yes very nice mate!

I went out this morning to clean mine & fix the boot catch rattle, just got as far as sorting the boot catch, major cba to clean!

Like the interior! Need to smarten mine up with the wrap like you've done.

well it was needed as the gritter was all over mine..the wheels were white as from the picture...
did u manage to sort the catch out??

Nice looking car.

If I keep mine (having issues with the dealership I bought it from) I want to spray the plastic trim in anthracite to match my alloys.

Albi is definitely the best colour

I think I sorted it, when I pushed on the boot from the outside I could hear the noise it makes, when I was done it couldn't get it to do it, so fingers crossed its sorted.

I don't know for the interior, I'm thinking just black from here:

all i use is fairy liquid...can swear by it..no chemicals go on my wheels..so its only me being the sad one..well now i can play my cod advance warfare i got yesterday
i used some of that wrap...good quality..glad u managed to sort it out...

Good stuff, also use autosmart wheel cleaner but its a bit more agressive.

I love me some cod but my internet is so crap I can hardly play it lol.
