just a quick update on my track wheels..they have been cleaned,sanded down and primed..going to get some paint today..still not sure of the colour though...probably orange..will see what they have in store..

a bit more progress on this..went for orange ..some will/some wont like it...at the end of the day they are just track wheels so not that bothered really..wanted to spray them gold but couldnt get this colour anywhere for a decent price..







needs lacquer,spraying inside the wheel and im done..willl put yokos.ad08's on and lets go to Blyton next sunday..

Not a fan of the orange, but each to their own eh looks like you did a really good job though.

Mind if I ask how long in total you spent sanding, priming and spraying the wheels? I've considered doing mine but I've heard it takes a good while to do.

thanks..well its ideal if you have a spare set to put on while doing all above..it does take some time..

1. takes about 4 hours to sand the wheels properly (depending on what alloys you have)

2. clean the wheels properly another 2 hours I guess

3. priming about 3 hours if the weather is decent

4. main spraying- depends on how many coats you wanna do..I usually do 3 coats and then lacquer

it does take about 3 days(after work I mean) if the weather is ok..
