My 2009 Ultra Red 197 FF

Thanks Roy, they look darker in the picture than they do when you are standing next to it. I'm trying to find somewhere that does vinal or vynal wraps round here, do you know anywhere? The bloke at the tint place told me to ring Million Dollar Tints as they have started doing wraps, but I couldn't get through to them Saturday. I've also sent a quote request form to this other company who are based in Scotland but have a workshop in Wolverhmapton, so hopefully they'll get back to me.

I only want the door mirror caps done in gloss black.

I'm not sure the 2 hour 10 minute drive will be worth it! Lol! Unless they do a delivery thing? Does anyone know how do the door mirror caps come off?

no sorry but will ask about

Won a genuine Clio boot mat off ebay earlier and bought some xenon style number plate light bulbs from there the other day. So just waiting for those to be delivered and I'll put some pics up when they're fitted.

I'm going to attempt to make some mud flaps as seen in my other thread, but I'm going to alter the design significantly to what was shown. Hopefully by increasing the width I can use the bolt that is already there as a fixing to save drilling more than necessary.

So my boot carpet and bulbs came yesterday and I fitted them. Bulbs looked good, but it needs to be dark before I see them properly. I'll get some pics up at the weekend. The Clio carpet is really thick and the quality is better than I was expecting, so happy about that.

Been and had the mirrors vynal wrapped today. Cost £20 a mirror. And, well, the quality isn't the best. I'm a little disapointed. You get what you pay for, so I'm going to have a better look to try and find a company who actually specialises in it. The place I had them done today was a little window tint shop, so the guy seemed to come across as a bit heavy handed. I was glad I insisted I showed him how to remove the caps, he was about to attack the car with a set of screwdrives that would no doubt have recked them! Thanks to mr adam for pointing out the thread. Very handy. I will post some pictures up when the weather gets better. I've decided that once I've got the spoiler I want fitted that I'm not going to do any more to my car. I've spent enough and it's started to become annoying! lol!

I'm not sure whether to bother making a second attempt at fitting the mudflaps either.

Spoiler ordered today, should be here on Thursday hopefully, then painted and fitted within the next few weeks. I'm going to Wales on Wednesday night, so if I feel the need to stop I'll take some pics of my car! Should have a nice back drop then too.

Spoiler will look good mate, get some pics up when it's done! Have you thought about getting a spare set of mirror covers painted up rather than vinyl wrapping? I got some from this eBay shop:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RENAULT-CLIO-...37091494?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM

They offer a spraying service too so I went for that as my DIY job wasn't the best, cost about £20 per cover finished in gloss black!

That's good. Are they a good finish and are they genuine Renault ones? Cost me £20 to have the crappy vynal put on! Did you have to ask about the spraying service?

They are a brilliant finish mate, will put a pic up when I get back home. Not sure if they are Renault ones but they fit just fine. Cost me 66 quid in all, rang them up for a quote.

Do they do satin chrome finishes thinking of getting my mirrors done in the same style as lux 197's
