I remember pav, it was you who convinced my to clean up my TB haha. [emoji4] aww ok mate, thought so. Did your revs take a while to settle when you first started the car after refitting it?

Car feels a little less urgent when I went for a drive but thinking maybe the ECU needs to adjust now it's cleaner or maybe its because I disconnected the battery and TB. Throttle feels a bit smoother which is nice. Worthwhile maintenance job too do if you ask me.

If you have disconnected the battery for a long time then you have reseted the fuel trims.

had no trouble with my revs...guess i was lucky there

Fitted my ITG intake. Sounds very nice, not to loud but gives a nice roar. Very noticeable difference in pick up low down the revs. Overall happy with this mod. Mpg isn't affected either which has shocked me. May upload a video of the noise.

In other news, I had the rear strut brace re painted in racing blue. Fitting this now, I'll upload a photo shortly. [emoji4]

very nice luke..glad you are still with us...all them mods look good..any chance you would be joining us for CSS or the Dales run???

Update time: supersprint Exhaust fitted.

So in past month I've been busy:

-Supersprint race backbox
-Supersprint resonated centre section
-Supersprint decat pipe
-Carbon fibre front badge
-Carbon fibre rear badge
-Carbon fibre tail pipes
-Rear strut brace fitted.

The resulting noise is deep and purposeful, video doesn't do it justice. No flat spot either.

The Carbon bits, I'll admit I'm not 100% sure I like these. I did at first but now I'm starting to go off them. [emoji26]

Boot brace, excuse the Costco cups.

Hi mate, it's been a while since we last spoke, look at picture 8, I have the TPI wheel nuts. They where not fitted when the other pics where taken.

The bilsteins are fantastic mate! They are damn stuff like the h&r springs but you don't have that uncontrollable crashyness. They are really compliant at high speeds too. The front feels so planted, the rear follows nicely! The fast road set up has finished things off too. It now tracks perfectly, with no steering issues, 1.6 degrees of camber dialled in too.

The wheels have made the world of difference, the approximately 20kg weight saving seems to make the car feel so much more alive, the steering is sharper and more direct. The car seems to accelerate a fair bit faster too, it feels a little like I've had the car remapped. [emoji23] so happy with my Clio now.

thats great..there is a saying..if you want to make your car go faster-make it lighter..spot on..
how did you achieve that camber??
oz's are awesome..made a huge difference on mine plus the ad08'r are perfect for our little clios...

also where did you get the kit from pls??

Yeah very true, have more plans to go make it lighter too. Lightweight Battery and bucket seats next. [emoji4]

I have the powerflex adjustable polybushes mate. I don't think you can achieve any more than 1.6 degree of camber with them so I might look into some adjustable top mounts soon.

By kit do you mean the coilovers? If so I got it from Kam racing. £100 cheaper than Ktecs price too [emoji15] bargain coilovers IMO especially considering how good the quality is.

some serious plans for the future..you'd better get some pillows on your bucket seats..or you tushie will be bloody sore
ok thanks..which adjustable polybushes ??have you got a link??

thats what im looking at atm..kamracing..
is it these??
Blistein
thanks
