Saw Ethans lap on insta already. Seems to be a really quick track with some hefty corners/chicanes. The part with the cornfield right next to it is something I haven't seen before. Good luck with finding what ever goes in there. The track surface also seems to be in dire need of a renewal.

It is an odd track and certainly not one of the more premium tracks the UK has to offer. The surface is quite abrasive.

The upside to the track is that it is cheap to use and is normally open every Saturday.

I have a hose pipe ban where I live that started today so I did the only responsible thing and used up lots of water to wash the car and clean up the wheels over the weekend.

The track wheels, gold Speedines, had suffered with caked on brake dust for months. I had tried to clean off the brake dust but I had not found a wheel cleaning product that worked.

I then got out some tar and glue remover to get rid of some rubber marks on the wheels and found that it was also removing the brake dust. Now I have sparkling clean set of track wheels.

The car was covered in tyre debris marks from the Nurburgring and Blyton Park. It looked okay after I had finished with it.

It looks alright from a few metres away.

I also found a tiny dribble of some GTechniq C4 so used that on the plastic door handles and door trims.

Now the plastics look black rather than a dull shade of grey.

We have booked on to do another evening session at Brands Hatch with Javelin on 10th August 2026. Fingers crossed it does not end in another disaster!
