I have just had a short drive in the Clio and have noticed that a knocking noise that used to come from the passenger front side has now gone. It was not a loud knocking but more like a metallic pinking noise that I would hear when the front passenger side wheel went over a bump or down a light recess like a drain at the roadside. I had no idea what was causing the knocking as it was there when we got the car, it was there before we changed the suspension and it was still there after the B14s went on. It did play on my mind that as
@EthanMenace was smashing the front passenger side wheel over the kerbs at Snetterton and Brands Hatch that the knocking noise might develop in to a real problem.
It is no longer a problem and looks like the plan to refresh all of the suspension parts has paid off.
I have driven about 5 miles in the car but I have not noticed any real difference with the PowerFlex upper engine mount insert. The car still has its classic French rattles but is no worse now that the engine bay is fully polybushed.

I took a photo of the cam belt work, although there is not much to see.
