End of an era

Last Tuesday i went to RAF Cottesmore to see the Harriers for the last time. Here's some pics

4. Fast jets are everywere in this part of the country this is a Tornado GR4 from RAF Marham. For 20mins there was 2 F15E Strike eagles dogfighting above the base

Some great pictures, wish I lived near an RAF base, I'd be out there watching them all the time
 
No Doncasters aerospace, we make do all the fabrication work for the roll post ducts, which give thrust through the wings and the casings for the swivelling jet pipe at the back! Its brilliant to work on! The amount of aircraft sets we have produced for this aircraft since the summer is unreal!
 
Great pics..bloody sad how the RAF is shrinking..I had the time of my life in Suffolk and Lincolnshire when all the bases were open, and sights like this were daily, and not just random..
