I’ve yet re-gap them, they’re still at 0.6mm. I’ll see how she drives and attempt to open the gaps up although that is quite difficult without the right tools

Good and bad news. The misfire is gone, she revs all the way out to redline with these coils. I think maybe they’re masking a problem with my battery, alternator or both. The voltage trace in the ECU is erratic whereby the volts ramp up to 14.5 then drop to 13. This all takes place over 30 seconds or so.
Bad news is the charger threw the aux belt off, battery light came on pretty quickly afterwards (again points to a crap battery). It’s bent some fins on the supercharger oil cooler but fortunately not wrapped around anything else. Hopefully the engine is ok.

Been there what bracket are you using? can you squeeze another small pulley in there for more wrap?

It’s Supremes bracket, I think there’s pre tapped holes for another pulley but I have no idea where I’d source one or which belt to get.

I managed to fit another pulley for more wrap with a longer belt. It’s mounted on the rear mounting bolt as the other hole won’t
After fitting these I took her out to try it and she’s faultless and relentless. 100+ soon comes around and there’s no more misfire. The noise from the PMS manifold and Akrapovic is lovely, it gives a nice little burble on over run. I’m back in love.

She’s going to Fulcrum next week for to have this full bolt in cage fitted. I’ve stripped the car of all its plastics and luxuries (should have just bought a cup lol). Roll on Croft

There’s no going back now! She’s with Tom at Fulcrum for the cage and I’ll hopefully be picking her up on Monday.
I’ll then look to thin out the loom and remove all unnecessary brackets ready for a lick of paint. I’ve got some Trackday Doorcards on order and hopefully they arrive before Croft. I’m going to relocate the window switch and mirror knob to the centre console as opposed to cutting the door cards.
