Alien Green 200 Cup *** New AG 200 (number 3) from page 85***

Just looked at the KH website. Dunno if its a bit on the early side ie. I'd be essentially breaking in the new gearbox and brakes on a trackday lol.

Not sure thats wise lol.

I assume you've bought a Meg Mark?

I broke my car in at knockhill  700 miles on it and it turned out to be a strong bugger, never had a problem with it, never used oil etc

Yeah i bought a 225 with some upgrades (I'll get some pics up once its washed). Ill be going march or later.

I was thinking the same. If we do go for KW Clubsports at the end of this month I dont think I could afford to run on the 11th.

I've read about them. I have considered those and also the trackscotland days but have always ended up going through Knockhill or on the one occasion Renault organised one last year.

There is more Lotus Elise/Exige and Caterhams than anything else but a good mix of cars. Well worth a try!

She went in today for the new gearbox. Hope to have it back tomorrow but think it may be Saturday morning.

Forgot to add that the new gearbox is in and all is well. Seems to have solved the problem of not going into gear when cold as well which is a bonus.

Service and brakes are getting fitted on Friday, yes I'll put some pics of them up being the Ultra Simo, and ordered my KW Clubsports from K-Tech yesterday morning. They said they'll be 2-3 weeks delivery time so hopefully will have them fitted before the end of the month.

Then bring on Knockhill :bounce:

Nice one on the clubsports !

You taking it to Kenny Browns for him to fit them ? Remember and run them in first too, if you take them there he will set them up for running in (softest setting) then go back and he'll tweak it for fast road use once they're done.

Don't have them set for Knockhill it'll be undriveable but he'll probably tell you that anyway.

Had a wee slip at the door when I got home from work saying something was delivered but I wasnt in.

Neighbour took delivery for me. Was stunned when I found out it was my KW Clubsports:

Am paranoid now about top mounts but think these are the right ones?

top mounts look bang on mate, prepare for extra road noise but more importantly much more feel

are your speedlines now your track wheels ?

PORN!!!

Lol. Looking at all the recent topmount threads I am sure they are the right ones.

Phoned the place thats doing the service and fitting the brakes tomorrow and they said that if I can leave the car overnight then they'll fit the coilovers to. Result

I was thinking of just ditching the track wheels and using the Ultras with road tyres as there'll be an obvious difference if I was to get the suspension setup with the Ultras and Speedies.

So think I'll just use the Ultras and road tyres on track now.

glad you now have these as depending on the ride I may get some still as they are awesome!!!

Yeah keep the OZ's for the track, once the cars set-up on them it'll be so different on the speedlines. Mine was anyways the offset makes a massive difference.

On the speedlines it was more skitish and tramlined a hell of a lot more.

I think when funds allow or when a set come up for sale for a decent price I might try and pick up another set of Ultras.

Also, the whole swapping tyres over before and after the trackday is an annoyance also lol.

Unfortuneatly still not gonna be able to go as low as your old 197 was (Emma says lol) but will be setup better than the H&Rs.

I had no idea how low it was, should have really measured it for reference but i just handed the keys over to Kenny and he worked his majic

Did look great though and the view from the back was brilliant especially when the toe in caught your eye.

Can't wait to see this at Knockhill now, anoy everything through the bends. Even me in my torque steer mad megane (well only if your too silly exiting bends)
