Thinking of selling my cage!!

....

Not sure why, just am. Think I must be getting old but I fancy putting my carpet back in! Keep the buckets though but make it look a little more plush??

Should I????

Role model gone bad :-p

Is the car your daily commute?

always said you should make it a little like the R26R on the inside... carpet and cage.

as Jase said, keep the cage and put the carpets back in  , best of both worlds

you know you'll put the carpet back in and then want to remove it again. Just save youself all the hastle and leave it be

Lol, conflicting advice :worried:

Roas, yeah its my daily, doesnt bother me TBH but I dunno, just been thinking about it the past few days!

Well then my situation is about the same. As of spring, I get my fullcage welded in and some more of the interior has to come out for it.

As much as I like to get rid of the stuff, I think carpets in the footwell are much easier to be taken care of cleaningwise than bare metal. Especially if you have to use it regardless of the weather. That goes for the boot as well. Cannot get around the fact, I have to left "some" usability to the car as it, momentarily, is my only means of transport.

I have considered to take the rest of the Airbags out as well. Not to mention the original harnesses etc. Should be fun

I have nothing left inside mate, no airbags, no std seatbelt kit, no nothing.... Think its just the fact I still have alot to finish inside thats gettig me down!

Dont ****ing sell it, you know u want it to look like a track day slag as well as feel like one.

True pal, noticed your avatar txt saying youre getting a half cage? Where from pal out of interest?

Kev, its only the cage out of the clios at Oulton park, the bolt in ones, removing the rear seats, looking at putting the cage in, rear strut brace if they both fit and then buying your old carbon rear panels and having the rear end stripped out and re-carpeted.

Well kev if you dont have them back them im having them. lol. Might see whether I can get something else made up as im quite tempted to keep the rear speakers.

Going to strip the boot out though.

Rear speakers wont make much difference if you get a good set up front!

I was a little shocked when i took the cover off to see an empty mount there!
