can someone explain to me please. if you buy a cat back, is that from the second cat? meaning you have to cut and weld the aftermarket exhaust onto the standard (2nd) cat?
I wasn't going to decat but you can't get non res for the 197 so I figured it was a good compromise :coffee: Plus my mechanic told me not to worry about MOT's so that kind of swung it. My neighbours may hate me but who carreesssss!
Those with the full akrapovic systems, how do you find them compared to the standard exhaust? can you tell much difference when driving normally as opposed to a B road blast in terms of volume/tone of the noise? Am fairly tempted by one.
Had a custom exhaust (longlife) on mine now for about 3 months. Still has a centre silencer and 2 seperate rear silencers. Pops and bangs on every up change. Also don't need to even consider the KTEC crackle map. The over run is amazing at 5k rpm+
I have considered a custom exhaust I just wouldn't know what they'd need to know before hand, as well as the likely costs involved. If you don't mind me asking, how much was yours from longlife?
