I'm enjoying the car already so once Iv got all the bits sorted il be even happier.

Cheers.
Might as well do the basics so they don't bite me in the backside in the long run.

Thanks all.
I'm already enjoying this forum lots of help and kind members.

Hopefully keep this updated.

Yeah good to get all those bits done and get to know the car a little. Iron out any niggles then use it as a good base to start modifying with. That's what I've done with my 2010 after getting the belts, dephaser, aux, crank pulley and full service boxed off and out of the way. Piece of mind!

Pictures.
Not great taken off my iPhone.
Sorry it's dirty it's a pig to keep clean this time in the year.
Think doors need slightly adjusting as I think it's dropped slightly.
Hopefully belts will arrive tomorrow from A.L.Spreformanceparts.

Looks great, absolutely love Storm Grey. Crying out of red calipers though, just to break up the darkness a little.

Thanks.
Calipers need a rebuild so will do
Something with them. I'm thinking outside the box and maybe not going to go red. Need to get some Photoshop on the go on some better pictures.
Need a colour that will go with some hoses for the engine bay possibly?

Little update.

The cambelt kit come today from A.L.Spreformanceparts.
All I need now is Coolent for when the water pump is changed over.
Is this the right Coolent and I need 5 litre's??

Unboxed.

So once Iv sorted out the Coolent I can get in contact with Paul at R.s tuning and get a date sorted out.
I suspect it will be a bit tight around Christmas but il be more relaxed once it's done.

I (My garage) didn't use the type D coolant.....but it's what is recommended. You'll have no issues at all with that.

I got my complete kit from ALS recently too. There's a certain satisfaction gained by renewing everything with genuine parts

Good luck with it all.

So first issue.

Drove the car this morning everything was fine. Went to get some detailing products as it was filthy.
Got back have it a quick clean went to move it and won't start.

First thoughts it's been cold so battery, I have lights on the dash and it failed to jump start.

It's ticking over trying to start but won't fire so I tried the whole spray in the inlet manifold and it fired, as soon as I stopped spraying it died.
I'm guessing it's a fuel issue,
Checked all the fuses in the engine bay they all seem fine.
Now I keeps saying select nuteral everytime I take my foot off the clutch, brake to start it.

My guess is the fuel pump is ferked.
And Iv upset the electronics buy checking the fuses.
Currently going to get a scanner to have a look.

Any other ideas?

Sorry can't help mate but once you know the answer let us know.

Okay bit of an update.
There is definatly no fuel getting up to the rail we have had the pipe off and turned it over a few times.

So we plugged in the Snap on tool but we can't get the ingintion lights to stay on with this push start keyless go. (Seemed a good idea when I bought it)
So what we have done is taken the connector off the pump and poped in two wires and a light (which we borrowed off the Peugeot) In to the connecter and turned it over, it lit up so I'm guessing it's the pump and not the relay.

I'm thinking about paying a bit extra and getting a walbro pump.
Is there any other options?

Well since the last post it's been an intresting few weeks.
(Apologise for the long post)

So after diagnosing that the fuel pump had actually packed up I ordered a walbro 300 fuel pump.
Now I'm no mechanic but I have a fair bit of knowledge about cars and decided I would do this my self we have a couple of ramps at a workshop we share between mates.
I found a guide on here to how to get certain parts off.

So in order.
Number plate off
Diffuser off.
Exhaust center section off.

On closer inspection of the exhaust it turns out that it's a full cat back scorpion system, the lad I bought it off said it was just a diffrent back box.

Rear brake lines off.
Handbrake cables off.
Lamba sensor disconnected.
Middle exhaust mount off.
Middle heat sheild off.
Fuel lines off.
Power to pump off.
Then 5 bolts on the tank and dropped it on a couple of gearbox stands to lower it down.
Removed the old plastic screw lid and seal and removed pump housing from the tank.

Pump housing all stripped down and old pump removed.
Wires stripped on housing plug and walbro and heatshrunk together.
New filter that come with the walbro.
Had to remove the old pipe as it was also heatshrunk on.
Next was to put the pipe they supplied on but it was a bit difficult to get on, after fighting with it it was finally on and heatshrunk following the intructions.
After all this it was pretty much reverse order plus a new fuel pump seal kit.
Once all back together minus the diffuser and number plate.
Got in the car pressed start and she fired and ran for 30seconds then it cut out.
F*ck I think the words I used was.
So after looking about for something I may have forgot to put back on (which luckly I hadn't) it could only mean it was something internal.
So I had to take it all apart again, it was the pipe from the actual pump to the pump housing had popped off.
I was in such a bad mood I left it all covered up and headed home.

A few days later I went back to it. Got some braided fuel line to go between the pump and housing with some small jubilee clips. Put it all back together. Pressed the button and boom.
All seems fine but now I have an engine light and a check emissions.............I'm guessing that's to do with upsetting the lamba sensor?

It runs and drives fine apart from the flat spot seems more apparent between 2-3k RPM which makes me think it's the lamba sensors?

Iv Re bled all the brakes starting with the furthest away and working foward.
I need to adjust my handbrake cables now as its not working at all.

Sorry there isn't many pics:

All this has put my trip to RSTuning to have the belts and service done on hold so that will be early next year now.
