Hi - I'm now the proud owner of a Black 197 R27. So far so good - just the air con that needs sorting and it's booked into my local Renault dealer on Friday.
I can't believe how close the ratios in the gearbox are and how secure the handling is. I had a 182 with Cup packs back in 2004 and the new one is bringing back great memories- even better handling although not perhaps quite as quick acceleration (?). My wife doesn't like firm suspension but the car is even starting to grow on her- which is good and bad news - she took it to work today!
Anyway - hello to everyone and wish I'd bought a 197 when they were launched instead of a Lotus Elise R (too small for growing family...) a Fiat Grande Punto Sporting T-Jet (better than you think but a bit too Fiat!) and most recently a BMW 123d Coupe which was very expensive for what it is (nice though but smaller than a Clio3!).
