Ultraleggeras mounted with some R888R tyres

The car was running 25mm spacers (I think), now they've been removed and an 8J ET55 wheel fitted, the studs are probably a bit too long. Not bothered though, I'll keep them, they look racey.

Wheels on and car is down on the deck. Doesn't have brakes yet, they're away for refurb. Being painted Brembo red with black painted decals. Uprated fluid and DS1.11 pads. Glass isn't back in yet. Doors still need to go on.

These rear 3/4 graphics are going in the bin:

Rear end looking tasty. Chrome tips are coming off, carbon ones to fit. Chrome badge getting a carbon sticker (I hate chrome):

Tweeters thrown in the bin and carbon blanking plates made up:

Getting there....

I think it will probably be done before Christmas, just waiting on the last few bits. It’s not Matt’s fault, he’s waiting for third party suppliers. The oil cooler hasn’t arrived from Mocal yet, the brakes are away being refurbed and there are more carbon finishing bits that we haven’t got back yet.

The main difference between the two is that Beanie’s were installed after the interior paint, so they are riveted in place and are black. Mine went in prior to paint, and are therefore welded rather than riveted, and they’ve been sprayed the same colour as the interior. I think the design has also changed in that Beanie’s is a flat bar and mine has angled returns, which should give it a bit more strength against bending.

You can buy them off the shelf from Weeder Motorsport I believe. Not sure if Supreme Motorsport sell them as a kit.

Thanks for the info

I'm after a solution to fit aerocatches to a Meg' R26, don't have access to a welder !

Stocked up on some rubber for the 2021 season, first up a set of Autec Wizards from @Big Ben - they won't be staying gold I'm afraid! They'll be getting a colour change to either satin black or very dark grey. These came with a set of used Michelin Pilot Sport slicks:

I also found a guy near me who deals in used race team slicks, so I bought all of his remaining stock of Clio size. There's a set of 4 hardly used and a pair that aren't quite as new but have some decent life left in them:

Loving this build so far. The cage looks awesome and things like the freshly painted calipers are really gunna make it stand out! How long do you think you can keep it NA before being tempted down the Meglio route?

Chrome tips removed and carbon fitted. Cheeky little carbon number plate from Supreme Motorsport for track day use:

I keep pestering Rentune to make a passenger version of the driver's foot rest. It's not happening though. I might have to make my own.
In the meantime I suspect a large sheet of grip tape might have to be deployed.
And make passengers take off their shoes.
