thanks..haha the bug has never left..it was on stand by..no car no fun...:excited:

i used the opportunity of my wheels being off the car and gave them a proper clean prior to sealing them with C5..hope they will be back on the car by next weekend..
checked my tires and must say that given i bought them last summer,there's not much tread left on the fronts..a bit disappointed if you ask me...expected more from GY ass3..will swap them over since the rears are still decent...

I've heard good things about C5. Should hopefully be easy to apply too, especially compared to the standard alloys! I bought mine ASY3s last summer too, even though I rotated them i've found that they've worn down considerably. At least that means an early tyre upgrade though

i used the C5 last September and it lasted pretty well..well im not buying GY again thats for sure..

Yeah thats what happens when they have 280bhp through them..

Saying that I do found my fronts had worn down quick also when I last had ASY3s... Do have to expect that on a fwd hot hatch though.

The wheels are looking good Pav! That is quite surprising that the GYs have worn down quicker than you thought - with or without extra boost Mine are still going strong - I think I need to get out in her more!

Yeah I thought so too..have about 4 mm on the fronts...looks like a new tire time for me next spring...thanks
