new from Fife

Hi all,

My name is Jack and I just picked up my first black Clio 200 cup. It's 2009 model with over a year warranty left. So far so good although I have to get used to it as I just sold my EVO IX FQ340 :worried: It's my daily driver and I do around 500miles every week. I really hope it's going to cost me less than Evo

No plans right now apart from second set of wheel with semi slick tyres and perhaps new exhaust.

:welcome: mate.

Wont hold being from Fife against ye

Car looks superb. 500 miles a week is gonna cost a small fortune tbh. Not quite as bad as your Evo but expect to see maybe 35-40mpg on long motorway runs but mid 20s for tootling around.

Being from Fife your very handy for Knockhill? Love getting our 200 up there as often as possible.

first i was not sure about the colour tbh, I know how difficult it is to keep them clean but I did polish it this morning, and it looks superb

welcome mate. you must have been gutted selling the EVO, ull have fun in the clio though atleast u wont have any turbo lag to worry about, but say goodbye to high top end speed:thumbup:

welcome to the site fella! Like Roy said get some decent wax on it and you'll love the colour (even when mines mucky it looks cleaner than most black cars I come across) , after all it is the best one ...

Hi, I've had it to for a week only and I can only say NO, no similarities at all. The Evo is far and away better in every aspect apart from costs. The only thing Clio could match EVo is the fun factor but as I said it's been only one week and most of the miles I did was on motorways.

Thanks

Good news I got 38mpg on motorway on Monday so not to bad, driving 65m/h though

any way can you guys help as I can not find what's the wheel size for my Clio. Is it 4x100, 35-42 and 60.1? looking for some track wheels

It's 5 x 108. Centre bore of 60.1 and standard offset of ET68.

Very happy with my Clio so far but my circumstances changed again, and I am getting back to Evo-land. Anyone looking for nice Clio 200? 20K on the clock. Very impressed with MPG as I tend to get 37mpg on the motorways and 32 in town. I've done 12k miles in past few months. I would be happy to px for cheaper car if possible

by the way how do I put new thread in for sale section? do I need to upgrade my account?
