Finally got round to getting the 330mm disks and RC6 pads fitted courtesy of Mr Black.
Fitting them took around hour and a half and presented no problems at all. Clearance on the Rota's is good and first impressions on getting the pads bed in and warmed up are excellent. You only have to touch the brake pedal slightly to have your face embedded into the windscreen.
Gonna have to get the car cleaned properly this week so I can upload some nice clean pictures.
Cheers Will, still a lot of products to upload but its getting there.
I have a loyalty points system up and running on the site, same kind of thing as the tesco clubcard and shell card. For every £1 you spend you get a point, save up your points and put them towards future purchases.
All prices shown on the site include VAT & UK delivery so no nasty surprises when you get to the checkout.
Not really, slight clicking until they beded in as they are very meaty. I put some high temperature anti-squeal Teflon pads on the back of the pad which is working very well.
Its the rears (PF01's) that squeal like a pig getting raped by a rhino.
Had some wearing issues on the drivers Recaro, Renault said they would contribute 50% but that still would've left me with a bill from Renault for just over £500 to replace both the back and seat fabric on just one seat.
Obviously I told them to do one, in fact I replied by saying I could get a full retrim on both seats in Alcantara for £500. Their response was quite comical in that they tried to say that the high cost was due to the quality of materials that Renault insist on using. Once I had picked myself up off the floor for laughing so hard I sent a simple reply stating "such good and high quality that you have a recognised wear issue amongst users of both the 197 & 200" 2 months later I've still not received a response.. Lol
Just got the bargain of the year though on eBay... £80 for a complete cover, get in.
