The major service is due on my 197 in march, long time away i know but im just getting some thoughts.
Just after the service is due to be done i will be looking to sell as i would have owned the car 2 years and i like to change every 2. But...
Do I get the service done first or not?
Now i always have the servicing etc done but will forking out that much just before i sell be worth it or is it just dead money?
I want to get it done as i think it will help it sell, the main question im looking for advice on is wether or not to get it done at a dealer or not. Obv the pros of this are there will be the stamp to prove this.
My other option is having my friend ( a qualified renault mechanic) do it privately for me, considerably reducing the cost.
Would this put you off, knowing it had been done privately and not through a dealer and therfore having no stamp in the book?
Sorry for the massive right up but im just trying to get a feel of peoples thoughts.
Cheers
