Are you having the diff fitted to the 197's gearbox ?

Yeah the diff in the 197 box mate, theres no other box to upgrade to lol! Might have to look at a custom box next year i think!

I thought the 225 or R26 box would fit as the 197/200 box fits them ?

Yeah but the ratios are to long, it will be revving to 7.8 where as the meg is 6/6.5. Will loose the clip feel I reckon.

i love you car best colour and best mods! i like the meg engine in the clio but supercharger is so ftw!!

Ah I never thought of that, I've forgotten all about revving the Clios head off. I suppose with the supercharger you get to keep that characteristic. Win win situation :thumbsup:

Yeah that's the trouble, of I put a meg box I'd probably get 100 out of 2nd lol!!!


Cheers guys it made 260bhp and 250 torque. Not sure in price you'll have to e mail them, I didn't pay much as I was the development car.

you had any gearbox troubles/noticable wear? was anything uprated engine/gearbox wise ie clutch etc?

Nothing to be skeptical about ben, it works and its fast Done 5k hard miles inc 3 track days, speaks for it self i think

No ryan (touches wood) its been sound, no signs of wear or anything! And my box has done 73k!!!

It is such an awesome machine, f*ckin love it!!!

Update

The car was dropped off today to get major surgery carried out. Forged and diffed, then returned to me in 2/3 weeks when I'm back off holiday, then a painful process of running it in then the BIG boost can commence
