Is Stripping The Clio Bad?

Truth be told with the cage in it's probally back to the same weight lol

Seatbelt, rear seats, various trim, 2x airbags and tools equated to 41kg on scales for me.

Roll over bar was 34kg lol so I'm still underweight

I've asked the dealer to remove my rear airbags and seatbelts but they said the front ones won't function in case of an accident if I do that

You need to hook your car up to Renault Clip to turn air bag light off. Otherwise, no air bags will work.

Or, if you prefer, you can install resistors in place of the missing air bags.

Well in the seats there is and on the non cup im sure curtain airbags were an option.

I have 2 airbags in the top rear pillars

and the seatbelts assembly weighs more than 1.5 kg each

Seatbelts are heavy yes but removing them puts the dreaded airbag light on

however after a good year of it lighting my dash up I'd be more worried if it went off!
