What troubles you with the AST on the road mate? Are they too stiff? Which setup did you go for?

no troubles on the road mate, they're pretty comfortable and you can tell they're an expensive damper!
its running roughly 2.5 camber but will be getting geo set up soonish. I believe the spring rates 8kg but not entirely sure.
 
Who's done your kit mate? Was it Curtis from AST here in the UK?

I'm thinking of sending mine to be revalved as a winter project with different sping rates so as to achieve a more road friendly setup, I'm just not sure on the spring rates as yet.

I believe - happy to be corrected - that AST uses 50N/mm springs all around on the road kit. Spring rates are displayed on the actual spring, next time you have your wheels off can you pls have a look and ping me a message?

i dont beleive curtis is at AST anymore which is a good thing because the bloke is useless.
cooksport seem to be on the ball now.
Ill check the springs for you.
You can use custom spring rates but i believe mine is factory standard.
Mine are second hand but they went back to AST to be checked over which they weren't happy with a few things and got rebuilt under warranty so basically brand new. they are not uncomfortable and still have alot of adjust ability as im only running 8 clicks from fully soft out of 12 and 5 clicks from fully soft on the rear.

Interesting. I went to their website and they are now offering support somewhere in Bristol. I did have some issues with Curtis in the past I have to admit but he always went the extra mile in the end to make sure things were right.

I'll fire them an email to see what's what but thanks for the info James, cheers.

Stunning james, think i may of come across your thread on RSMegane a couple of weeks ago, awesome car, i may borrow some ideas, don't think i will be tracking mine like you though as i have the 182 for that
