What I meant is that if you negotiate a decent 'cash' price and then ask for 0% over 4 years, they load the price of the car - or they have with me anyway.

Did you get 0% on the quoted cash price they gave you then? I think we were talking about £17.1k cash for the spec I wanted, but by the time a 0% 4 year finance was discussed the 'total cost' came out at £18.9k ish.

Yep. 0% finance made no difference, was cheap either way, hence why I took the finance and it's now sitting on my drive, albeit very dirty!

£1800 difference for 0%, tell them they are having a laugh and go elsewhere, I told you where mine came from, your call if you want to go see them.

You're right though, after looking at a £15,000 2nd hand car, there's about £1000 difference against a brand new 0% financed car (over 4 years).

Any thoughts? I'm tempted just to go with it...
