Former 172 cup owner, looking for a good time...

Thought I'd stop creeping around and say hi!

Used to have a cam'd and stripped out 172 cup with 203bhp. Sadly sold it due to buying a house... Now that's out the way, I am looking to get another toy, this time a 197.

No doubt I'll be at some of the meets and FCS this year.

Anyway... ttfn

Already looked at a couple... looks like melted front wheel arch liners are a common thing!

Having to expand my search but the buyers guide is a good shout!
 
Picked it up last week:

Not really had a chance to grab many pics yet, but will do this weekend!!

- It's an 06 197, Albi blue 75k
- Michelin SP4's all round
- EBC drilled grooved all round with yellow stuff rear pads and Mintex race fronts(?)
- Scorpion exhaust with decat

Mechanically great, horrible 2.5k flatspot... stone chipped bumper and some poor matched paint on previous body work repairs, but I wanted a project! Still looks tidy unless you have a very keen eye.

Either way, I'm happy with it [emoji108]

Glad you’ve managed to find one... yea unless it been remapped it’ll have a bad flatspot.... enjoy
