then i added another off take onto the induction pipe so the vacume system is exactly as it should be from the factory 17439653_1546209612069302_1740422840_n.jpg

One step forward and two steps back with my car at the min i ordered my new exhaust it came and its everything i hoped it would be, itll be so nice to have a sporty exhaust note again after driving around in near silence for so long. But im scared to refit my old standard pistons so the rebuild is delayed again while i decide whether or not im going to forge it.

right ive spent so much already i may aswell go the whole hog as i dont ever want to take this car apart again its getting forged pistons and rods and anything else its needs to get back on the road asap as this is my daily driver and im so stuck without it roll on pay day to get these parts paid for.

Progress wise ive done hardly anything as ive been sorting the misses 225 as the dual mass gave up on her so i replaced it with a single mass flywheel from ktec so have had very little time although i managed to find time to remove my old 197 exhaust and fit the new 3 inch back box pictures to follow once i get the tips on and diffuser back on

been busy trying to get a megane rad to fit my 197 there wasnt much information online so i decided to go for it myself i started by drilling out the spot welds on the o/s lower mounting moving it over about two inches and welding it back on then gave it a lick of paint.

i then spaced the subframe down about 10/11mm as per Stephen Vennings recomendatioonce the spacers were on the metal plate on the n/s wouldnt fit so i drilled the holes out so i could refit it even after spacing it theres alot of trimming to do on the slam panel when i get more pics of the butchered slam panel ill put them up

With all the work I see and the intention to go forged....I think the title is misleading

Progress looks great !!!
