Definitive Aerial Thread

Right, so many people have mentioned different aerials but with no pictures.

Lets do this properly now.

Car: Clio 200

Aerial Purchased: Original Honda Civic Type R/S2000 Aerial

Thread size: 5mm

Opinion: Disappointment for the £15 i paid. Doesnt fit the base nicely and still hits the cup spoiler :whatever:

I have a type r one but no spoiler as of yet plus the scrappy gave it me for nowt so i can't complain

I got a cheap stubby one off eBay will get pictures up, signal is crap on standard hu, but if you upgrade the hu the quality is good!

I've got a Honda one too, was a bit expensive but looks better than the standard one and the signal is as good. I don't have the problem with it hitting my spoiler, it's the right size so has never hit!

No, I mean the spoiler is the right size! I've got a sport spoiler, much better than the cup! Ha ha! :tongue_smilie:

Just cut the standard one at the base of the antenna. Looks the part, and it FREE!

I have a mazda 3 mps one on mine, same length as the type-r one but is a much better fit on the base

I like the look of that one Roy. What is the signal like?
Mine stops about 1mm short of the spoiler but is quite pointless as the signal is crap.
So is that from a VW sharan?

dont know what the make is i had it of Ben of here
and it sits well
