Sorry for the lack of updates

So it passed its MOT - finally

Done about 200 miles since passing and I am loving it

Had it on the roller to make sure it's ok to boost

Overfueling a bit but safe to run for now.

Slight down on power so maybe it's time for a new map

Also toke it into work for the Nightshift
Came out to rain so that was a fun drive home



Next on the shopping list
New tires - debating what to try next and size
Powder coat the gold set of 8j
Then off for a full alignment

And guess I need a trip south for a Map

It’s basically complete now. People usually seem to sell them once they’ve reached this point

White on silver works good I think

Local alloy wheel man doing white, black and silver cheap

I always had it in my mind I was going to fix this and sell on to make a few quid and finally make that move away from CS and get into kit cars
However jezo it's way too much fun
Scares some proper big modern cars proper little hooligan motor

So loom day
What a long day that was
Garage was down to 0.6degc today with the sun on the garage
So took over the kids play room

Was not as straightforward as copying over looms, then we made a mistake of not marking a couple of same coloured wires before stripping the plugs down, so then had to hunt down wire ends etc
Anyway got done in the end

seeing as though you've done all this loom work you may have the answer to a question of mine.

The two relays in the fuse box thats usually located at the front of the battery, these arent needed are they? They are usually for headlight washers I think.

Ive done a battery relocation and want to make another custom fuse box to replace the box with these relays in so if I can ditch the relays it would make things easier.

I mounted that until to the abs unit in the back of the bay
I am away on holiday tomorrow so can't even look for you until I am back

Now it's all clean and on the road, time to get the cover out while not in use before the kids run a bike down the side

Getting the fear of it overheating

However knockhill seems to have changed the booking system and now you need a membership to book track days before general sale

Them relays also run one of the xenon lights on my 197 Meglio.

Finally got round to getting a geo setup done
Taken the 20mm spacers off and fitted a set of 8j Speedlines

Must admit it's like a new car now
Other than it's been very quiet

Now for the winter

In 2 minds what to do
I have a set of Sabelt buckets to go in and would fit a cage at the same etc

However I am thinking of selling it now and that's has always been the plan - maybe bit so soon.
Just done a track day in a kit car and have always fancied one but unfortunately I don't have the space for both cars so CYA will have to go

So do I fit the seats and cage then end up selling might make it less desirable - I don't know.

So if anyone that's been following this build feel free to msg if interested

Long overdue update

Had the car down at EFI
Chris is a top guy, we ran into a boost leak issue for the turbo itself
I thought the day was a bust - however we got it sorted and Chris stayed late to get the car mapped
Made a very healthy 407hp & 425ft/lb
