It won't go into reverse

It originally had a short shift kit on the box
Then the previous owner fitted the zero one
But was never setup
But stumped what to do - trying to find a standard selector

And radiator fan wiring
I am missing the radiator fan resistor
Can't seem to find one for a that I trust is for an RS, I have a jumper wire round it just now

Anyone shed some light??
I don't know the solution to the gear linkage issue but have you got a Clio box or a Megane box. The ZPOs are different depending on what box you have got. Terry at ZPO is good with communications so you could try contacting him?

It is good to see that your hard work is paying off and the car is now moving.

So it's a Meg box
And this short shifter fitted

I will have a little play with it today before reaching out.

Can't imagine it will be easy finding a OEM selector

Decided to email Terry at Zero one

Very helpful and on a Sunday evening

He mentioned about adjusting the gub screws etc and then the reverse gear on a Meglio is in a different position

So stupid question was asked - where is reverse

It's down and to the right of 6th

Straight out to rgr car this morning
And it now goes into reverse

I will happily take the easy fixes all day long
 
Few jobs done today but back to work tomorrow so on hold again

Reverse sorted
Boost controller rpm lead wired in
Fixed the headlights
Bumper on and started to sort the bonnet needs a trim on the inside for the coolant bottle lid
Changed the boost controller vac lines

 
All these Megane conversions in the past seem to have a problem with cooling fans turning the wrong way and driving the air into the oncoming air canceling out it's effectiveness. Double check the electric water pump apparently it operates after switch off to circulate around the turbo when hot at turn off, stick at it your going well now.View attachment 159437

That's for the electrical help as always
Will look into that on the days off.
The original builder did mentioned he had changed the wiring to allow the pump to run for 5mins after switch off.

It's definitely not going that just now
 
The water pump is playing up so on the hunt for a new one and also got a tiny leak that I am struggling to find

Been having issues with boost control and the car is running on wastage pressure around 0.6bar - I was thinking this is a fast car but not as fast as I thought it would be

Then I found the boost settings on the controller and now have 1.3bar
Wow jezo this thing is fast
Car is just mental
 
I have to pick up some parts from Renomotove in the next couple of weeks and at Knockhill in July, I would like to see what a Meg Clio is like I'm not likely to find one in N.Ireland.

There's one or two of them down south. One is a road going one but that got engine knock this week There's a red one that goes to mondello the odd time too but I haven't seen it out in about a year
 
Not much to report
But went for a longer drive this evening after getting back from holiday
Did 25 miles on that private farm road again
Everything seems good to go and nothing is getting to hot etc
Very impressed with the Kw3s car felt great compared to my last RB with Gaz golds

However the cooling fans are constantly on and someone has suggested it's because I do not have the AC pressure switch fitted - so that gives me something to Google in the evenings

Really need to look into the airbag lights as well
Need them off to get through the MOT
Need a MOT to drive to someone with a CLIp
So it's resistors for now

And my mate shat it on a 4th gear pull and managed to set the portable extinguisher off, just as well it's getting a deep clean

Also just secured a safety devices cage so hopefully I can get that in shortly
 
Anyone reading this build a Meglio with a working reverse light
This thing is driving me bonkers and don't have the enthusiasm to post the issue, tomorrows job now
