Excellent
Just along the road then. I am in Kinross
Probably cross paths at some point

His place has everything you would ever need.
My go-to place now

So while I was at Renomotive today
I spotted a Ph1 flamer

So I mentioned that my first CS was a ph1 back in 2004 (I think)
And it was a weird car as it had a sunroof fitted and I have never seen a CS with a sunroof.

His eyes lit up and he asked if the reg ended in BOB

It did - so we walked round the back

And there he was

I'm going to create a small paint booth for painting all the engine parts.

I found a small 2kW heater at a bargain price, seen as my garage is a second fridge at the moment

It will go in the gazebo once I'm finished with it; another bargain.

the parts were heavily oxidized so cleaned up with the wire brushes on the drill and Dremel for the hard-to-reach bits
cleaned with brake cleaner
roughed up with some uber fine sandpaper to key the metal
primed with Zinc 182 (i think)
then painted with Hycote

A mate did this last year with his engine and its lasted very well

It's going to look tidy when it's all finished.
But I will probably scratch it when I pop it all back in

Popped some fuel bulkhead fittings in, rather than running a hose through a grommet, the old ones had worn away so had a fuel hose rubbing on the metal

Has anyone got one of these fitted? Got a few questions.
The car came with the air filter & intercooler from Air-tech brand new, however, everything is mixed up so just trying to work out what goes with what

1000077997.jpg

Guess I have a nice little place to mount Rs Rows battery re-location kit

1000077998.jpg

And the next issue, where to stick this thing, can't pop it by the ECU due to the fuel lines

Next big issue is sorting this right mess out.

Also need to work out how to get the fuel lines through the plate while still looking good, I have a selection of grommets and dust proof grommets arriving this week

Need to find a way to get fuel hoses through the plate
