Battery charge fault

Hi, few weeks ago my car showed a message: "battery charge fault", it appears when i have already driven some kilometers and i have to restart the car to this message gets dissapear. I bought a new alternator but the problem persists, my battery was bought one year ago. Could anyone help me?

Are you able to check the battery voltage with the engine running and with it not running?

Did you use a genuine alternator as some aftermarket ones can produce the error you speak of?

Battery ok. And genuine alternator. Im thinking that fail is related to earth wire. This afternoon im gonna check it.

I solved it. The problem was that i had connected the oil pressure switch and alternator charging wire in backwards.
