B Pillar Vinyl Shine Tip

Hi Folks,

Just thought I'd share with you's a little trick I discovered yesterday whilst washing the car with regards to getting that grey looking vinyl on the B pillar back shining!

Simple yet effective, peanut butter ( the smooth one obviously) and just dipping a microfibre cloth in and rub it in to the vinyl generously and wipe of any excess. Turned out a right shiny black due to the oil content I suppose and seems to be wearing well!

Worth a try if your tired of the dull looking vinyl!

Haha I read somewhere ages ago that peanut butter works great on any vinyl due to the oil content so thought I'd give it a try and it worked an absolute treat!

good find..but in the long run i'd rather get some vinyl from ebay and wrapped it myself..10 mins job each side...But well done roud:

Peanut butter is quite a good one for all the rubber bits not just the vinyl, as said the oils in it bring out a good shine
