I've been looking at the rear wheels and they seem lost in those arches, has anyone ever fitted spacers without lowering the car? any photo's? And do they adversely affect the performance of the car?

Do love a racing Mini, a friend of mines got a Mini Miglia, his dad has built a custom turbo engine for it too, when it's finished it'll be running about 250bhp at full boost, which is a hell of a lot in a fibreglass/carbon fibre body weighing about 550kg.

I see there's quite a few 197's around Kettering, a nimbus one parked on Dryden street all the time, and I see a black R27 bombing around quite a bit too. They don't seem to be on here though.

happened to me a couple of weeks ago in the rain at about 15mph, actually slid out very slowly so didn't really scare me.

25th and 26th of August is the WEC series at Silverstone this year, i imagine it's a support race for that.

possibly a non cup as it had the silver calipers, but with anthracite wheels. I parked right next to you but i was only there for an hour. Had a cup spoiler, front splitter and side skirts, reg number H**7 TYK

It must've been, he broke a vertebrae and 2 ribs. Nasty shunt. Pity to see Audi lock out the podium again, getting pretty tired of that, hopefully if Toyota can stop crashing out, or Lola Rebellion find the speed they had this weekend we'll see some other cars grace the top 3 steps again.

I'd rather do a lap of Monza or Spa than any other track. Going through Eau Rouge and the Parabolica at full throttle would be awesome.

I like the idea of it, and I like the centre console, door mirrors and front/rear badges, the front splitter may be a bit too much for my tastes though. At some point at the end of the month I'll have a Milltek exhaust for sale as i'm taking mine back to standard.

My LY R27 never had a spoiler, i prefer them in black with the yellow car rather than a yellow spoiler, that's just too much for me. Maybe get it vinyl wrapped in carbon fibre vinyl?
