Mini 1275 on the track (Cadwell Park)

Last week I helped a friend out and gave him a hand running his de-seamed 1275 mini all the way to Cadwell park.

Was a brilliant day, not too much on the circuit at all. And while I'm on that subject, what a track! The elevations, the tight width and many changing cambered corners. Pretty epic tbh!

The mini-

- Entirely stripped
- Welded in cage
- 35l fuel cell in boot
- Lightened flywheel
- Ap racing clutch
- Single SU
- Stage 2 cam
- Mini Sport 4 pot brakes
- Yokos all round
- Tint Lamin - X on head lights (Looks darker in pic than reality :S) Supplied by me at www.facebook.com/FunkMotorsport

Here are a few pics from the day:

Looks like a proper fun little toy!!!

Is it being raced in any of the series?

Do love a racing Mini, a friend of mines got a Mini Miglia, his dad has built a custom turbo engine for it too, when it's finished it'll be running about 250bhp at full boost, which is a hell of a lot in a fibreglass/carbon fibre body weighing about 550kg.

Nah no series, mini racing is one of the most expensive types of entry level racing around tbh!

And epic win!!!

Great looking car. I've got so much love for old school minis!

Looks like you had a good day, those graphics on the side would look awesome if they were properly retro looking.
