Sprint Hillclimb 197

You won’t be able to tell visually if it’s ok, it could be electronic internals throwing a wobbly. Swap it with a known good one to rule it out. It’s an easy job. One electrical connector, four bolts, 5 minutes.
I would have to buy one :/ no idea what sort of price they are, if they are cheap it would do no harm to have a spare anyway. Will look them up. Wasn’t sure if a visual check was enough or not.
I suppose you dont have another diagnostic to scan for codes?
I only have CLiP. I’m trying to work out how to use it atm lol. I got a bit further playing with it plugged into my Megane this morning. Its a pain that the Clio lives at my parents house atm, so I can’t just go out and check the Clio :worried:.

On the day another guy had a generic scanner and it saw nothing other than “multiple misfire”.

Just to add, I’ve had this and it was the throttle body (as has one of my other trackday friends)
Front Lambda can also cause misfires with no code, but it’s generally 3-4000rpm and upwards when they start to miss.

You changed the fuel line would it be that
Thats what I’m blaming atm as its the only thing I touched. Maybe we didn’t clear it out well enough and dirt maybe got into the fuel line and/or injectors.

Do you know if you can see fuel pressure on clip? I’m struggling to understand how to use clip, I can’t even work out how clear codes. I can see codes but no clear button, I watched some videos online of people using older versions and they have a clear button right. My version is 219.

If the ID of the fuel line was different would that be an issue?
