If Porsche made a hot hatch

I’m running b14’s on mine. If you’re after the best of both worlds leave it stock. My car basically becomes useless on bumpy country roads so I have pick where I go driving carefully. The setup is fantastic on perfect roads though, body roll is nonexistent and gives you tons of confidence.

The above comment basically sums up perfectly what we were saying when we took mine down that back road, though I wasn't sure if it was just because mines polybushed. Your car definitely went down that back road better than mine though! I do think if the B14'S were set to an appropriate height they'd definitely ride a fair bit better though

All good suggestions and details ...

For clarification... what would the Eibach Springs lower my ride height by ?

I’ve seen quite a few pics with grams / H&R’s on ... obviously the b14’s you can set at whatever you’d like .

Not my car obviously, but this is on eibachs with 19mm spacers View attachment 134916

Damn that looks nice, whose is that?

See I like that a lot .... looks just ‘right’ ... not crazy low where I won’t be able to spank a B road but just a bit more purposeful....
It gives the looks whilst being practical, its firm but not to the point that it feels like something is going to break when you hit a bump

Lowering springs will not improve the handling on typical English roads imo. Renault had that sorted when it left the factory.

Looks will improve though if you don’t like arch gap.

If you’re on smooth tarmac then coilovers are best.

Unfortunately something that does everything doesn’t exist!

Just booked in for some Eibach springs based on above photo  I was already booked in for an exhaust, things are escalating quickly!

...also spotted the watches - this thread is a really bad influence!!!

Just met up with ‘rated’ and I’ll also be getting some... perfect combo for looks / ride quality / value . Although I’d like the b14’s ... these for my needs will suit me .

Question .... on the Clio it’s running ds3000 pads on the front ... not sure in the rear . The cars seems to make quite a lot of noise when using the brakes . Not squealing but just pad to disc friction noise . Is this just the aggressive pad characteristic?

nice collection..car enthusiast for sure..have fun with all your toys :thumb:
if you can stay away from lowering springs..as above wont improve handling..a colies set is way to go..

I’m very happy with the handling is standard cup chassis form . So not really looking to improve on it . Just would like the subtle 15-20mm drop that the eibachs offer and hopefully the handling will stay 95% the same

I’ve not used them particular pads but I’d guess yes. You can hear DS1.11’s at low speed so I’d guess 3000’s would be similar.
