Anyone tried and can comment on these? They seem to be a halfway house between road and track rubber, so would be interested in peoples opinions on them.

A very good tyre. Would have had them originally over r1r's as a lot cheaper, but they ran outa stock.
A lad on meganesport has them on his r26 and loves them to bits.

Did have yes. Used them as his track tyre IIRC. Gave them good reviews.
